Ingredients
500 g Onions
500 g Carrots
750 g Potatoes
500 g Green Beans
2000 g / 2 kg Stewing Beef
180 g Spiceman’s® Beef Stew Powder
1500 mL / 1.5 L Water
Preparation
Brown meat in a large pot.
In the meantime, cut all your vegetables into the desired cut.
Once the meat is browned, add in your onions, carrots and green beans - cook for 5 minutes.
In the meantime, mix the water with your stock. Then add the stock to the pot with the meat.
Cook this until halfway through (25 minutes) and then add in your potatoes. Cook for a further 25 minutes or until the stew is done.
OR
Preheat oven to 175 Degrees Celsius.
Add all the ingredients into a Bain Marie/ tray, stirring to make sure all the ingredients are evenly coated in the stock.
Then cook for 50- 60 minutes.
