Ingredients
500 g Onions
500 g Carrots
750 g Potatoes
500 g Green Beans
1500 mL Water
180 g Chicken stew pack – Spiceman’s®
2000 g / 2 kg Chicken pieces
Preparation
Cut all the vegetables - carrots, onions, potatoes, and green beans, into desired cuts.
In a large pot, brown your chicken pieces on medium heat. Once your chicken has browned, add in your carrots, onion, green beans and potatoes. Let that cook for 5 minutes.
While the chicken and veg mix is cooking, mix the chicken stock with the water and then pour that mixture into the pot with the chicken.
Stir well and allow this to cook for 50 minutes. Be sure to keep an eye on it, stirring when needed, or adding water if need be. Cook further if needed.
OR
Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
Add all the ingredients into a Bain Marie baking dish/tray- mix / stir to evenly coat all the ingredients in the stock.
Place the tray into the oven and cook for about 50-60 minutes.
